Sarah (Sharon Cuneta), a grade school English teacher, unites the 150,000 Pinoy OFWs functioning in the UK to keep her husband, Teddy (John Estrada), in taking a best existing for their home. More than simply a history of the Filipinos’ receive functioning as nurses and caregivers in the UK, this history also graphs Sarah’s travel to self-discovery – from a dominated wife who makes sacrifices to make way for her Teddy’s aspirations to an approved woman who finds self-regard and congratulate in a ridiculous job as a caregiver in London.
The history starts as Sarah tells bye-bye to her common world. After completing an wearing course in caregiving, she offers parting to the Grade 5 classroom, where she teaches English. She purchases a winter coat for her son Paulo and assures that he would use it once she can open to take him to London. In typical Pinoy fashion, she deals bitter goodbyes with her whole home at the drome when she eventually leaves for the United Kingdom.

Eventually, Sarah comes in London. At their little flat, she and Teddy deal a wild reunification. With a honeymoon humor, he accepts her to the beautiful sights in London. While window-shopping at a identified mall, Sarah meets Sean (Makisig Morales), a desperate Filipino boy, as she enchants him annoying to shoplift chocolate bars.
After that passing period of excitement, she experiences the hard challenges all Filipino caregivers face daily: the icy weather, the dirty work, the awkward patients.
Meanwhile, Teddy also conflicts with the daily grind in the hospital as he works.
Contempt the troubles of setting to London life, however, Sarah dependably supports by her Teddy. She attempts to make the virtually of the position by granting her best in her work, and in this way, earns the respect of Mr. Morgan, his wealthy old ward. However, Teddy is unconscious to her success, as he is engaged in his own troubles with work. Sarah finds solace in her friendship with Mr. Morgan and his son David, who seems to treasure her more than Teddy does, and with little Sean, who somehow comforts her yearning for her own son.
Stresses rise between Sarah and Teddy as the stress of London life accepts its toll on their marriage. Because of the riding disputes both at work and home, Teddy determines to give up. He tells Sarah that they are going back to the Philippines.
Sarah finds it very hard to take Teddy’s conclusion. She knows that sticking in London is the best thing for their home, because establishing to the Philippines would only mean going back to the same problems they had before. Will Sarah choose to extend by Teddy’s side to keep her home intact? Or will she find the strength to stay in London to extend seeking a better life for her son, even if it means losing her marriage?
The movie finished establishing Sarah in a park in London, after Teddy extended back to the Philippines.
